POSP 4-12x42 is recommended to be installed on the SVD, on the "-Tiger " carbines - and SKS on the side bar. The ability to adjust the magnification in the range from 4 to 12 times is excellent for hunting at various distances.
Thanks to the illumination, the reticle is clearly distinguishable in low-light conditions, which greatly simplifies aiming at the target at dusk.
It should be noted that the sight is able to work even in the most difficult conditions at air temperatures from -40 to +50° - C
